Marketplace rules

Clear rules for every kollab.

These are the simple operating rules for brands and creators using Kollab. They explain how orders, payment protection, delivery, approval, and disputes should work before the legal terms get involved.

01

Brand pays first

The brand pays before work starts. The payment is held while the creator works.

02

Creator accepts

Creators should only accept orders they can deliver properly and on time.

03

Delivery is reviewed

Brands review the submitted work against the agreed brief and timeline.

04

Money is released

Once approved, the creator balance is credited and Kollab fees are applied.

Brand responsibilities

  • Provide a clear brief, deadline, required platforms, deliverables, usage expectations, and any brand assets the creator needs.
  • Pay before the collaboration starts so the order can be protected through Kollab.
  • Review creator delivery in good faith and respond within the review window shown in the order.
  • Do not request illegal, misleading, unsafe, or discriminatory content.

Creator responsibilities

  • Keep your profile accurate, including your platforms, audience information, rates, and services.
  • Accept only the orders you can complete professionally and within the agreed deadline.
  • Deliver the agreed content or proof of completion through the Kollab order flow.
  • Do not use fake followers, impersonation, stolen work, or misleading performance claims.

Payments and fees

  • Brands pay the listed creator price plus the brand-side Kollab fee before the work starts.
  • Creators see earnings according to the order price and Kollab creator-side fee structure shown in the product.
  • Creator withdrawals require an active Stripe payout account and may depend on Stripe availability timelines.
  • Kollab may pause or block payouts while a dispute, fraud review, or payment issue is active.
Plain English: payment should be clear before anyone starts work. Brands should not pay creators outside Kollab for orders created on Kollab.

Delivery and approval

  • The creator must deliver what was agreed in the order brief and collaboration agreement.
  • The brand should approve delivery when it matches the agreed brief and deadline.
  • If the brand believes the delivery does not match the agreement, they should raise the issue clearly and provide evidence.
  • Repeated late delivery, non-delivery, or abusive review behavior can lead to account restrictions.

Disputes

  • If something goes wrong, both sides should first try to resolve it through the order details and messages.
  • Kollab may review the order brief, contract, delivery evidence, platform screenshots, messages, and payment status.
  • Kollab can decide to release payment, refund, partially refund, request changes, or suspend an account depending on the case.
  • Users should contact Kollab quickly when a dispute appears instead of waiting until after the review window.

Safety and account rules

  • Users must not scam, harass, threaten, impersonate, or pressure other users to move protected orders off-platform.
  • Kollab can remove suspicious profiles, reject verification, freeze order actions, or suspend accounts that break marketplace rules.
  • Creators and brands are responsible for following advertising disclosure laws and platform rules for sponsored content.
  • These rules are a practical summary. The full Terms of Service will control if there is a conflict.
